So...

So Alot is new.
First off I got a new Computer. Not just any computer though, but a badass 27' Apple iMac. Sad part is apple just refreshed the line not to long ago so I have to send it back for one of the newer ones.
Secondly, i've started my first programming class this quarter. The first language i'm learning is Visual Basic and the .Net framework.  This is so I can mainly:
- Learn the language
- Learn Syntax
- Learn the basics of programming

- etc
So far this 2nd project he's had us working on is a ballbuster but doesn't really really relate to my overall goal. The video game industry.
Last thing I wanna rant about is this, and it starts off with what companies are going to take a 2 year degree seriously? Not many.  The purpose of why I started this blog and my astranged youtube channel was to help kids who want to do the same thing I do. Although, I dont even know what i'm doing yet so i'm in no position to give advice to anyone.  So, why should I be handing out the advice? Maybe i'll help someone though with my experiences and mistakes.

I've also learned a few things recently and these are just personal experiences so slightly boring you can skip and not miss much:
- You learn that sometimes the best friends are the ones you've known the longest.  Also, this holds a flip side of just because you've known them for a while doesn't mean they are your best friend.  Your best friend is effeminately someone who is like a brother / family member and they know this without you even having to tell them.
- You can look around at people and listen to the things they say and know who to avoid. Like bums, moochers, etc. Just by the way they talk and conduct themselves.
- Your school doesn't always have your best interest at heart and you need to speak up and let your adviser / teacher / counselor / whoever know what you need done. They will try to get more money that you do not owe if you are not careful.

- Do not let anyone stop you from being yourself. If you lose a friend then you didn't need them and will make a better friend. There's a quote from Jim Morrison that I believe wholeheartedly that states, "Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is."
In closing of this longest post ever that no one is going to read. Just try and take my lack luster advice with a grain of salt. These are my personal experiences. I hope I helped someone out there.
